Back to Bluegrass is an annual Music Festival held in McGrath, Alaska to support our local radio station, KSKO.
Back to Bluegrass is a community event, thought of as the local McGrath summer Holiday event. Many people up and down the Kuskokwim River come to McGrath to enjoy this holiday where locals and non-locals sell crafts, food, and experiences. This is a two-day event usually held towards the end of July. People come to get their moose tags as well for their annual subsistence hunt as well as collect the winter supply of blueberries. Please be prepared for a weekend of fun, good food, great company, and the best interior live band performances.
